Do I have to pay for any of this?

Most of these Events are FREE With just a few exceptions. No event will ever cost more than $20 per participant, and the funds are used to help pay instructors and ensure more things like this can keep happening in Tacony!

Do I have to pre-register for these events?

No, but it is better to be safe than sorry!

Events at the Tacony Library and Tacony LAB will be available for walk-ins, but if they are at capacity you will be turned away. Best practice is to call ahead or go in person to the location hosting the activity you would like to attend and let them know you’re coming to ensure your spot is secure.

The October 25th event will not be pre-registered, but we ask that you stop by the Knorr Street entrance between 1pm and 2pm for costume contest sign ups. This is to make sure that contestants are arranged properly by age group and we can keep things fair.

Can my child attend these events alone?

The answer will depend on the location. Best practice is to call ahead to find out if a parent is needed. Generally, we prefer if adults stay with their children so that you’re there if they need you. An adult is not needed to sign up for the Costume Contest, but still good to have so we can write down contact info in case you are not there when prizes are announced!
